Accounts for three decades of working experience in the Capital Markets of Sri Lanka. He embarked upon a career in the field of Stock Broking in 1994 as a Floor Broker at Lanka Securities (Pvt) Ltd and obtained his qualification as a licensed Investment Advisor from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka in 1998. He joined Ambeon Securities (then known as Taprobane Securities) soon after its inception in 2007, as its Head of Sales. In January 2010, he was promoted as Assistant General Manager and was appointed as an Executive Director of the company the same year. In May 2012 Mr. Niles was elevated to the position of CEO and led the company for nine years. Mr. Niles had handled a myriad of customer portfolios varying from retailers to HNWI’s and corporates. Presently Mr. Niles serves as Executive Director of Ambeon Securities. He is the Chairman of Awana Clubs and serves on the board of Hebron Bible Ministry.

Possesses over ten years of versatile professional experience in capital markets and corporate management. He began his career as a Management Trainee at MAS Intimates (Pvt) Ltd and progressed to roles like Business Analyst to the CEO at Brown and Company PLC. His engagement with Lanka Securities (Pvt) Ltd included positions as Head of Research and Manager for Institutional Sales, wherein he managed institutional and corporate clients and formulated capital market investment strategies. Transitioning to the Asset Management sector, he eventually became the Chairman of Ceybank Asset Management Limited. He also gained insight into public financing as a Director at the Ministry of Finance’s Performance and Efficiency Management Unit. With academic achievements including an MBA from the University of West London and a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Sheffield, Mr. Charith’s expertise spans finance and management comprehensively.
